3-4 cups powdered sugar as needed
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 cup Red Velvet Cake Mix dry powder, sifted to remove lumps
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Red Velvet Cake
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/3 cup buttermilk or milk
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup oil
3 eggs
1 box Red Velvet Cake Mix

Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line pans with cupcake liners. Sift cake mix into a small bowl and set aside.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine eggs, oil, sour cream buttermilk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add cake mix and stir.
Step 3
Fill cupcake liners 3/4 full and bake for 16-20 minutes or until an inserted knife comes out clean.
Step 4
Red Velvet Cake Batter Frosting: Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add vanilla extract, red velvet cake mix, and milk and beat again. Add in powdered sugar a little at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
