Brown Sugar Glaze
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup black coffee
1/4 soy sauce
1/4 cup honey whiskey
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup onion (diced)
3 cloves garlic
1 egg
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup beef stock
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. dijon mustard
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tbsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper

Method
Step 1
In a small pan, heat up to medium and add a teaspoon of oil.
Step 2
Saute diced onions for about 3 minutes. Add minced garlic and fry for another 1 minute. Set aside.
Step 3
In a bowl combine pepper, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, beaten egg, and beef broth. Whisk until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
Step 4
Add the sauteed onions and garlic, ground beef, and breadcrumbs. Mix using your hands.
Step 5
Add the meat mixture on a baking dish or loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours or longer until meat temperature is at 160 degrees F.
Step 6
In a saucepan, combine glaze ingredients and reduce over low heat for about 10 minutes or until thick and glossy.
Step 7
Brush glaze on top of the meatloaf the last 15 minutes of baking.
