Tri-Color Pancakes PT25M https://img4.recipesrun.com/201907/2019/1022/c8/c/283251/300x200x90.jpg Pancake-breakfast morning is always a favorite in our house, but after a while, the usual-suspect add-ins, like chocolate chips, berries and bananas, get a little boring. Why not start the day with a colorful stack inspired by the rainbow? The kids will be sure to love this one. The best part (besides the fun colors and endless color combinations) is how easy this is to do. Just whip up your favorite pancake recipe (from scratch or mix, no one is judging here), and separate out about 1/4 cup of the batter into small bowls. Let the kids add the coloring, and watch pancakes go from boring to bold blocks of color. It’s also a great way to turn breakfast into a quick learning opportunity as you mix colors to form new ones. Stack them up high, and take a bite out of the rainbow for breakfast. 2 servings Ingredients: Liquid food coloring salt 1 tsp. vanilla extract 3/4 cup milk 1 egg 1 tbsp. canola or vegetable oil 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tbsp. sugar 1 cup all-purpose flour
