      • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (optional)
      • 2 tbsp. butter
      • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
      • 2 tsp. cinnamon
      • 1/4 cup sugar
      • 1/4 cup brown sugar
      • 1 apple (sliced)
      • 8 oz. container crescent rolls

    03 Method
    • Step 1
      Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
    • Step 2
      In a small mixing bowl combine brown sugar, sugar, and cinnamon and mix together with a fork to combine, set aside. Roll out the crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet and using a knife or pizza cutter separate each triangle.
    • Step 3
      Melt butter in a microwave-safe dish and spread over the crescent rolls. Sprinkle each triangle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture and chopped pecans.
    • Step 4
      Slice apple into 1/4 inch slices and place one slice at the wider end of each crescent roll. Begin rolling the dough from the wide end to the narrow end and arrange on the baking pan.
    • Step 5
      Brush with remaining melted butter and sprinkle with additional cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake for 13 minutes. Top with caramel sauce and serve.
