      • 2 cans Beef broth
      • 3 Bay leaves
      • Pepper
      • 1 tsp. Salt
      • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
      • 1 can Tomato paste
      • 6 cloves Garlic
      • 1 pound Yellow potatoes
      • 3 sticks Celery
      • 4 Carrots
      • 1/2 Medium onion
      • 1 tbsp. Olive oil
      • 2 pounds Boneless stewing beef

    • Step 1
      Sear the beef cubes on all sides over medium-high heat in a large skillet until they're nicely browned on the outside.
    • Step 2
      Meanwhile, prep all your other ingredients (except for the bay leaves), and add them to your slow cooker.
    • Step 3
      Give the ingredients in the slow cooker a good stir and then add the beef cubes in (spoon them out of the pan leaving the fat in the pan to discard later). Ensure the beef is mostly submerged in the Crockpot.
    • Step 4
      Gently add the bay leaves in. Cook on low for 10 hours. You can serve this stew with a side salad, but it's also a complete meal in itself.
