      • 2 tbsp. Water
      • 1/4 tsp. Black pepper
      • 1/2 tsp. Coarse salt
      • 1 bunch Asparagus spears, trimmed
      • 3 tbsp. Chopped fresh chives
      • 1/4 cup Real bacon bits
      • 1 1/4 cups Almond milk
      • 7 Large eggs
      • 2 Pre-made pie crusts

    03 Method
    • Step 1
      Preheat oven to 375˚F. Arrange the pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate.
    • Step 2
      In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, almond milk, bacon bits, chives, salt and pepper. Pour into prepared crust.
    • Step 3
      Arrange asparagus as desired, and brush the crust with egg wash.
    • Step 4
      Bake for 40 – 50 minutes or until eggs are fully set and the pie crust is golden brown.
    • Step 5
      Allow quiche to cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
